Dear Sir
I am sorry for the delay in responding this time. After a second search =
of our records here at the law school turned up no student named Adoko, I =
contacted our university's office of student records. At the law school, =
we only keep records of people who were law students, and I thought =

perhaps Dr. Adoko had attended another division instead (the law school =
does not have a PhD degree, the advanced degree is called a JSD). =20

The student records office checked the archives and came up with a record =
indicating a Master of Arts in Anthropology granted by Washington =
University, in June 1962 to Naphim Adoko. It seems likely that this is =
the same person you're inquiring about. No other records for the name =
Adoko were found.

I hope this is of some help to you.
Best wishes,
Sue Halvorson

Dear Ms Halvorson

Thankyou so much for getting back to me.

The name is Dr Akena Naphlim Adoko
He is supposed to have acquired a MA and PHD in Comparative Law at
Washington University Missouri which I assume is yourselves. This is what =
he
states. The date he provides as starting the degrees is October 1960. He =
was
a Ugandan citizen.

He qualified in UK in February 1960 from Temple Inn in London. He =
apparently
did his initial law degree at the London School of Economics.

It would be valuable to verify his qualifications given the nature of his
legal services in this country. I hope you will be kind enough to send me
something in writing from whatever your research comes up with.

My address is .................

It is obviously important for us in the UK to determine whether he =
actually
did obtain the degrees from your institution.

Kind Regards
.........

I received your phone message today, inquiring about a person named Akina =
N.
Adoko. I am sorry to report that I was unable to locate any record of a
person with the last name ADOKO.

If you can provide more information on this person, I would be happy to
search once again.
